The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is one of the largest non-profit organizations in Pakistan in the field of education serving at the remote areas across Pakistan. It was established in 1995 with a vision of bringing a positive change in Pakistan by providing quality education to the less-privileged youth.
Indus Motor Company has been helping TCF achieve that vision by partnering to provide quality education to underprivileged students in Hyderabad, in a Primary School premises made on land donated by the Habib Family and started in Sept 2006, providing education to 360 students from villages in the vicinity. The complex houses a playground as well, to promote extra-curricular activities. This is the second TCF school set-up by IMC, the first one having been constructed at Baseera, Muzaffargarh.
In 2017, Indus Motor contributed Rs 22 million to the Foundation as an Endowment Fund for meeting operational support of Saker M Habib Campus of TCF, located in Organi town, Karachi.
