Job Description / Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all legal matters including the planning, organizing, and managing of work activities assigned.
  • Coordinate and liaise with department peers on projects/assignments and ensure smooth/timely delivery of legal advice/input.
  • Coordinate with departments throughout the company to collect information required to defend the Company in legal proceedings .
  • Instruct external counsel and vet responses to legal notices received from them.
  • Vet written statements/Para-wise comments/applications and all court pleadings received from external counsel in litigious matters.
  • Assist senior legal manager in drafting and vetting various Agreements with local and foreign counterparts, including MOUs, Service Agreements, Lease Agreements, Contractual Employment Agreements, Supply/Vendor Agreements, NDAs, Bank Guarantees, Affidavits and other documents received from various company departments.
  • Assist senior legal managers in drafting responses to notices received from authorities and regulatory bodies.
  • Research on all legal matters and draft legal research memos for senior legal managers and company executives.
  • Maintain legal case MIS and all case files.
  • Coordinate with external counsel on all legal cases including assisting in approving payments and bookings.
