15th Dealer Conference 2006 - Aug 31, 2006 Karachi August 31, 06: The 15th Dealers Conference of Indus Motor Company was held on August 31, 2006 in Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi under the theme of “Together We Can” in which nationalwide dealerships participated. Attending the Conference were the company’s dealers, senior management from Toyota Motor Corporation, Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Daihatsu Motor Company, Japan, House of Habib, Karachi and Indus Team. A number of senior officials from Japan, including Mr Akira Okabe, Sr Managing Director, TMC, and Mr S Yamazaki, Mr A Fukushima and Mr M Ito attended the Conference. In the Conference, Indus Motor Company announced fifth consecutive successive year, as CKD sales posted an impressive number of 40,961 units in 200506, while the CBU sales stood at 2,780 units. To recognize dealers’ efforts, awards were presented to the best performers in the three regions. The Sales Award was won by Toyota Frontier Motors. In the Service category, the award was won by Toyota Southern Motors. Toyota Central Motors won the Parts award while Toyota Multan Motors won the CR award. The nationwide best performance award was taken away by Toyota Faisalabad Motors. Toyota Central Motors and Toyota Southern Motors presented their success stories by applying the best practices of Toyota and Toyota Way. Ali S. Habib, Chairman IMC, thanked the dealerships while praising the Indus Motor Team for their efforts and enthusiasm. He stated that the company is continuously investing, increasing employment and enhancing production to meet the growing demand for vehicles. He further urged the Indus team and its dealerships to continue exerting their fullest for attaining the highest standards of quality in all aspects of the business for greater customer satisfaction.
