The colorful evening started with distribution of souvenirs like balloons, mugs and snack packs to children on their arrival at the venue. This was to make the event truly memorable for the young participants and also to keep them going till dinner time. Fun rides for all, Mehndi arrangement for ladies and Jumping Castles & Cartoon Characters added color, variety and excitement to the event. A sumptuous dinner and refreshments were served from the food stalls of Pizza Hut, Biryani Centre, Haleem Centre, Igloo Ice Crème, Pepsi, Nescafe and Lipton Tea. To keep the food serving organized and with ease of access, specially designed and separate queues were arranged in front of the food stalls. Despite the huge number of participants orderliness was clearly evident due to the very fine planning that went into making arrangements to cater to all in a very short time and without hassles. A designated and tastefully done up dining area with adequate tables, chairs, decorative lightings etc enhanced the ambience and allowed participants to enjoy their dinner at leisure with their friends and family.

An elaborate musical function followed dinner. The well known Sahir Lodhi, compered the show and entertained the crowd with his wit and humour. It started of with an in-house talent competition of budding singers, supported by an enthusiastic and highly involved audience. The next items were Lucky Draws and Birthday presents to employees born on that date. However the surprise star of the evening was Mrs.Y. Arae, wife of Vice Chairman of IMC who swept the crowds with her beautiful Japanese songs. This was rounded off by the CEO giving away prizes of the winner of the musical competition, lucky draws and a special prize to Mrs. Arae in acknowledgement of her very fine performance and active participation. After the in-house show, the formal musical evening took off. It started with a Hamd of Arshad Warsi followed by Faisal Qazi with his hilarious skits. Khatija and Saleem Javed rocked the evening with their famous bhangra songs. Jawad Ahmed the main singer of the event came to the stage at around 11:30 pm and kept the younger lot on their feet dancing to their heart’s content on his all time hit songs. Consistent with the mood of the swinging crowd, the musical function went well beyond midnight ending on a high note of truly entertaining thrill The organizing committee would like to place on record its thanks and sincere appreciation of the very fine contributions made by all members of the committee and volunteers for making this event a grand success.
