The 10th Kaizen Convention - Sep 6, 2003 The 10th Kaizen Convention that was held on September 6, 2003 was attended by the entire Indus team, Vendors, Dealers, people from the automobile sector and distinguished guests. Senator Ahmed Ali, the then Federal Minister for Communications and Dr. Akram Sheikh, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission and Chairman Engineering Development Board were the guests of honor. In the Kaizen Team competition, the First Prize was awarded to the Paint Shop team. Weld Shop won the Second and Third Prizes. Toyota Southern Motors got the Dealer Kaizen Award and Omar Jibran won the Vendor Kaizen Award. Winners from IMC attended the Annual Toyota Kaizen Convention in Japan where they had the opportunity of making a presentation to participants from Toyota plants all over the world.
